Referenced here is a collection of books, articles and
papers that have helped develop the way we think and
the offers we make. As you will see, the thinking that
has made us effective in producing effective action is
built upon the work of many that have gone before us.
One way we express our gratitude for the work they have
done is to publicly acknowledge their contribution. To
those listed here, and many others not listed, we say
thank you.
When you find a title that looks valuable and relevant
to the issues you are dealing with, don't just check it
out from the library. First, you can't write in it and
that limits your ability to learn and grow with it.
Second, you won't have it around when you need to refer
to it. Finally, the author won't eat well, stay warm,
and write more valuable books in the future if we don't
do more than buy one copy and put it in the library.
We encourage you to show your gratitude to authors
whose writing proves valuable by buying their book. In
fact, buy two and give one to a friend or mentor who
has taught you something. You won't regret it, you will
earn the respect of your friend, and the author will
appreciate it.
